Raised in New Orleans, where she worked with many of the city’s musical
legends, she sang in Chicago and New York before moving to Florida. The
internet CD seller CD Baby recommends her latest CD, Red, for
people who like Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday and Lena Horne.
She appears regularly at The Galaxy Grille in Indialantic, the Redhead
Cigar & Martini Bar in Cape Canaveral, the Timpano Starlight Lounge in
Orlando and many other jazz venues in Central Florida.
Like her normal repertoire, her CD includes jazz and blues standards
and a smattering of some of the many songs she has written over the years
for her appearances. Internet-savvy fans can hear several Sybil Gage
