What a party! It was a very special event on July 15, 2007, when more than 450 jazz lovers helped Jack Simpson celebrate his 40 years in jazz broadcasting. The bash, presented by the Space Coast Jazz Society,  was held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Cocoa Beach. It was cosponsored by WFIT (89.5 FM) and WUCF (89.8 FM), the two stations that are broadcasting Jack's popular Jazz on the Beach radio program. The Courtyard by Marriott was also a sponsor.

These photos show many of the people who were there, including some of Florida's finest musicians. The guest artists included Sullivan on horns and reeds, Bubba Kolb on piano, Barry Smith on drums, Rabbit Simmons on bass, Jeff Simpson on saxophone, Joe Friedland on saxophone.  They are shown on the next two pages   in photos that include all the other wonderful musicians who were there to honor Jack.
