Sept. 13--Ron Teixeira B-3 Organ Trio
Ron Teixeira, shown above, will
perform on the Hammond B-3 organ at the Sept. 13
SCJS concert in the Cocoa Beach Country Club. His
trio will include drummer Stan Soloko and
guitarist/bassist Rich Walker. This will be the
third SCJS appearance by Teixeira on the B-3. He
packed the house in the previous appearances in
July of 2006 and August of 2005. Walker was
featured along with jazz legend Ira Sullivan at
the annual SCJS Benefit in 2006.
Music charge for the Sept. 13
concert is $7 for SCJS members and $10 for
nonmembers. Students under 19 are free. Tickets
will be available at the door.
